About Our Pastor

Pastor Kurt Jerome Washington is the second of five children born to Walter Washington Jr. and Rose Mary Washington. Pastor Washington is the proud husband of Mrs. Pamela Washington and the biological father of two sons, Rev. Brian Washington and Brandon Washington. Pastor Washington has adopted and raised a number of additional sons and daughters. He is proud to claim as his children Danny Gorrer Jr., Rev. Kenneth Thorns, Rev. Ivy Brown and Quinton Cross. Pastor Washington greatest calling is to help everyone in the community that where ministers to make heaven their home. The vision for Pastor Washington is to win all of Southeast Texas for the kingdom of God. It is his desire to diversify the ministry so that children, youth, young adults and senior adults have a place in ministry. Pastor Washington believes we must meet all groups at the place where they are presently at and grow them to fulfill God divine plan for their lives.

Pastor Washington presently holds a bachelor of science in pre-law government, bachelor of business administration with an emphasis on accounting, a masters of Divinity with both Greek and Hebrew from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has completed all the course work for a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis on church growth and evangelism from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity from United Theological Seminary. He is a certified teacher for evangelism and has served as Dean and register for United Theological Seminary Texas extension.
